On April 11, 2011 Worshipful Master Michael C. Coleman Sr. and the members of Keystone Lodge #39 Free and Accepted Masons, Prince Hall Affiliated, united for the first time in history with Worshipful Master Harry F. Sundstrom Jr. and several members of Cape Island Lodge #30, of the Jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey, Most Ancient and Honorable Society of Free and Accepted Masons. This is a continuation of The Historical Compact of Masonic Recognition signed by Most Worshipful John M. Bettis, 33°, Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of the State of New Jersey, Free and Accepted Masons and Most Worshipful Larry S. Plasket, 33°, Grand Master of the Most Ancient and Honorable Society of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New Jersey, aboard the Battleship New Jersey on September 22, 2002. Since then the fellowshipping of the two Grand Lodges has been exercised throughout the state of New Jersey, most notably in Atlantic County, and has finally made its way down to Cape May County, thanks to instrumental key players such as R.W. Charles M. Oglesby Sr., of Hiram Abiff Lodge #16, F.& A.M., PHA and R.W. James Parsio Jr., of Unity Lodge #96 F. & A. M.
